We gather on Sundays to focus — and refocus — on the truth of God’s Word and the grace we have through Jesus Christ. We proclaim the gospel, submit ourselves to Scripture, and seek to be transformed by the Spirit. We worship together as God’s people through singing, preaching, prayer, and the sacraments.
What Happens on a Sunday
Our gatherings follow a simple, historic liturgy —
What to Expect in the Room
Our gatherings are reverent, joyful, and simple. You’ll hear Scripture read, sing with the church, pray, receive preaching from the Bible, take communion, and be sent back into the world as God’s people. You do not need to know all the songs, understand every part of the liturgy, or have everything figured out before you come. Come as you are, and we’ll walk together.
Why Liturgy?
Liturgy simply means there is a shape to our worship. We are called by God, we respond in praise, we hear His Word, we come to His Table, and we are sent with His blessing. These rhythms are not meant to make worship feel formal, but to form us as God’s people. What we repeat shapes what we love.
Preaching at Redemption's Hill
At Redemption’s Hill, we preach the Bible as the inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. Our aim is not to build sermons around opinion, trends, or self-improvement, but to proclaim the whole counsel of God with Christ at the center. Through the preaching of Scripture, God calls sinners to repentance and faith, strengthens His people in grace, and forms His Church by the power of the Holy Spirit.
